Raised from Zendesk ticket #1047. Currently, it is not necessary for organisations to report or include funding that comes from their own fundraising ( or similar internal) sources. Therefore should such funding be reported on (and do we perhaps need a new transaction type called locally raised funds, or something)

Returned to the Modifications, Additions, Improvements forum.
Moving to 1.05 because of the suggested option of adding a new transaction type.
The Transaction Type codelist contains functionality that impacts on the arithmetic/financial integrity of the standard.
This is a necessary and important addition that should also be linked to improved handling of core funding. It is a pity that we didn't include this in 2.01, but it is, in my view, too big an issue to be handled by 1.05.
I think we have no option but to queue it up for 2.02 (with the possibility that it may have to wait for 3.01)
