Registration Agencies for Pakistan NGOs for IATI ID

We need a code for registration authorities for NGOs in Pakistan. There are several different ways that they can be registered - through provincial departments of social work, for example or as a registered not-for-profit company. Please would you check out the following? 

- Code: PK-MSW (for organisations registered with provincial depts) or PK-CO (for NGOs registered as not for profit companies under the Companies Ordinance 1984)
- Name: Government of Pakistan, provincial Ministry of Social Work departments.
- Category: PK

    If we use the list of organisations certified by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy we would need to add the following details:

    Code: PK-PCP

    Name: Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy 

    Description: The PCP Certification Programme seeks to bring transparency, accountability and good governance in the nonprofit sector in Pakistan. The first initiative of its kind in South Asia; it involves the evaluation of a nonprofit organisation on standardised parameters of internal governance, financial management and programme delivery.

    Alternatively if we ask an organisation to use its Ministry of Social Welfare department number we will also need to add:

    Code: PK-MSW 

    Description: All NGOs are required to register with the local Ministry of Social Welfare department


    Name:  Provincial Ministry of Social Welfare departments.

    Further to the above we have recently been advised by an NGO based in Pakistan that they have a valid registration number as provided by the Voluntary Social Welfare Agency. Therefore in light of this new and updated information I propose that the following is added to the Organisation Registration Agency Codelist

    Code: PK-VSWA 

    Description: All NGOs are required to register with their local Voluntary Social Welfare department


    Name:  Voluntary Social Welfare Agency.
