In an earlier discussion about more granularity within contact details, adding a <department> was mentioned but not implemented. I find many NGOs want to publish a "department" name and address rather than an individual staff member.

So a request to reconsider an <organisational-unit> or similar, to be added to contact info.
The 1.05 upgrade is flagged as 'codelist only' so this could not be considered there. It could happen in version 2.x - but might be too late in the process for 2.01. However, I shall move this into the 2.01 upgrade process forum for consideration at the end of the Iteration 2 consultation period.
As the impact of its inclusion is trivial I propose that we include it in 2.01 as a late entry.

While the element itself is to be called 'department', I will implement this in the schema with a description:
"The department within the organisation to contact for more
information about the activity."
